Saint John Paul II Fund for Priests
Is there a priest who is a special part of your life?
The St. John Paul II Fund for Priests is a wonderful opportunity for you to honor a special priest in your life and assure that his brother priests have the spiritual formation support they need. The Institute is the only ministry in North America dedicated exclusively to the spiritual lives of priests and seminarians.
“For over 50 years, Fr. Thomas J. Halley, S.J. was an important part of my family, whether it was bringing communion to my invalid grandmother, sitting up all night in the hospital with my dying mother, co-officiating my marriage, or concelebrating my father’s funeral. He prayed with us, listened to us, shared meals with us, and was our friend. I will always treasure that he loved us and was always there for us, just like Jesus.”
- Lawrence A. Dwyer, Omaha
Many individuals like Larry have honored priests who have affected their lives by opening and funding an IPF Saint John Paul II Fund for Priests account in the priest’s name. These donations are used by IPF to support the spiritual formation programs offered to diocesan seminarians and priests who have a deep desire for a closer relationship with Jesus, similar to the priests being honored.
For more information, read the brochure and the reply cards which give more details on how you, too, can honor a priest who holds a special place in your heart. Questions? Contact Kevin Armshaw, Director of Mission Advancement.
Read the list of currently honored priests to see which accounts have been opened. Adding to existing accounts is possible at any time.
