Spiritual Moms - Week 5
June 25 - July 1, Week 5
Week 5 Courses: As the course on Celibacy as a Generative Gift continues, seminarians have a long weekend for the July 4th holiday.
Seminarians begin their apostolic service (for the next five weeks) which includes visits to local nursing homes, hospitals and assisting with various other opportunities for service in the local community.
Seminarians have a Day of Prayer on Wednesday, June 28th when silence is observed.
Week 5 - Prayer Intention: To make a good beginning for the apostolic service experience
"What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops." Matthew 10:27
St. John Paul II's teaching on the Theology of the Body, helps seminarians receive the truth that they are called, as celibates, to a "spousal love" for the Church. This sacrificial love gives life to the Church as the priest lives his mission together with Jesus, the Bridegroom.
