Our current program is in the middle of Year 2. Following the current program dates below, we have tentative dates for the 2014-2017 Session.
Year I: The Identity of the Diocesan Priest as Beloved Son, Chaste Spouse”
- Week I – May 15-20, 2011
- Week II – October 2-7, 2011 (October 2-11 for those participating in the full eight days of retreat*)
- Week III – January 15-20, 2012
Year II: “The Identity of the Diocesan Priest as Spiritual Physician”
- Week I – May 13-18, 2012
- Week II – October 14-19, 2012 (October 14-23 for those participating in the full eight days of retreat*)
- Week III – January 13-18, 2013
Year III: “The Identity of the Diocesan Priest as Spiritual Father, Good Shepherd”
- Week I – May 12-17, 2013
- Week II – October 13-18, 2013 (October 13-22 for those participating in the full eight days of retreat*)
- Week III – January 12-18, 2014
- * The October week each year is a silent directed retreat. All participants are expected to be present for five days; however, there is also the option to extend the retreat to eight days. These are indicated by the dates in parentheses.
- Registration for the 2011-2014 program is filled to capacity. However, names are being accepted for the next cycle which will run during comparable weeks May 2014-January 2017.

- Week II – October 2-7, 2016 (October 2-11 for those participating in the full eight days of retreat*)

Location
The Institute for Priestly Formation is proud of our on-going partnership with the Archdiocese of Chicago. The Spiritual Direction Training Program is held on the beautiful campus of University of St Mary of the Lake/ Mundelein Seminary at 1000 East Maple Avenue in Mundelein, Illinois.
Cost
The cost per year for the 2014-17 includes room, board, books, all program materials and administrative fees. It is anticipated that it will cost $2,025 per year for the 2014-2017 program.
