The course is designed to:

1. Familiarize students with Karol Wojtyla’s (John Paul II) philosophical project of linking the subjective and objective world views.
2. Introduce students to the main themes of the 129 addresses that constitute John Paul II’s “Theology of the Body.”
3. Encourage students to integrate the principles of John Paul II’s Theology of the Body in their own personal lives and relationships.
4. Equip students to apply John Paul II’s “adequate anthropology” to a range of questions such as sexual morality, bio-ethics, gender issues, vocation, the sacramental life, and the new evangelization.
