Pope John Paul II Fund for Priests

Is there a priest who is a special part of your life?

The Pope John Paul II Fund for Priests is a wonderful opportunity for you to honor a special priest in your life and at the same time support the mission of the Institute for Priestly Formation.

“For over 50 years, Fr. Thomas J. Halley, S.J. was an important part of my family, whether it was bringing communion to my invalid grandmother, sitting up all night in the hospital with my dying mother, co-officiating my marriage, or concelebrating my father’s funeral. He prayed with us, listened to us, shared meals with us, and was our friend. I will always treasure that he loved us and was always there for us, just like Jesus.”
- Lawrence A. Dwyer, Omaha

Many individuals like Larry have honored priests who have affected their lives by opening and funding an IPF Pope John Paul II Fund for Priests account in the priest’s name. These donations are used by IPF to support the spiritual formation programs offered to diocesan seminarians and priests who have a deep desire for a closer relationship with Jesus, similar to the priests being honored.
