Father Vincent Fortunato, O.F.M.Cap., M.A.
Father Fortunato, a priest of the Province of the Stigmata Capuchin Franciscans, has served as vocation director, novicemaster, a member of the general council and provincial. He has taught the art of spiritual direction at Washington Theological Union, Washington, D.C. Currently, he serves as a retreat master and teacher in the art of contemplative spiritual direction. A graduate of Creighton University’s Christian Spirituality Program, Father Fortunato is co-director of the IPF Seminar.
Father Joseph Kelly, D.Min.
Father Kelly, co-director of the IPF seminar, has established a model training program through which local diocesan priests learn the art of spiritual direction, enabling them to become adjunct spiritual directors serving the local seminary. A priest of the Archdiocese of New York, ordained in 1978, Father Kelly is presently pastor of St. Anthony’s Church, Bronx, N.Y. From 1988-1995 he served as Director of Spiritual Formation/Spiritual Director at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, Yonkers, N.Y. Fr. Kelly is the spiritual director at the Cathedral Seminary Residence of the Immaculate Conception in Douglaston, NY.
