The Institute for Priestly Formation is delighted to offer a silent directed retreat to serve men approaching ordination to the transitional diaconate or the priesthood. The silent retreat will include daily individual spiritual direction, daily Mass, as well as four hour-long personal prayer periods that the seminarian schedules into his day. A spiritual director accompanies the retreatant each day helping him notice how the Lord is present and how to respond to the Lord’s invitation into deeper relationship.

December 28, 2026 to January 6, 2027 for the 8-day retreat. December 28 and January 6 are both travel days and not part of the retreat.
The retreat will be held at Grand Coteau Retreats in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. If flying, the closest airport is in Lafayette, Louisiana (LFT).
Laundry facilities are available on premises.
The total cost is $1,500 for an 8 day retreat – this includes retreat fee, meals, and lodging
