Vocation Directors Retreat

The Institute for Priestly Formation will host an individually silent-directed retreat specifically for vocation directors. For many years IPF and NCDVD have shared a close collaboration in providing spiritual support for priests who serve in vocation ministry.

The retreat time will consist of:

• Daily one-on-one spiritual direction
• Retreat silence
• Four personal prayer periods throughout the day
• Communal celebration of Mass
• Meals in silence
• Chapels and grounds for prayer as well as space for rest

Program Information

Registration is currently open. Vocation Directors may sign up anytime. However, to serve as many priests as possible, beginning September 15, the retreat will be opened to priests who do not serve in vocation ministry.  There are many requests for a silent directed retreat, so vocation directors will have first priority, but if space remains, we will welcome other priests seeking a silent retreat with daily spiritual direction.

Dates

• January 18 - 23, 2026 (Five-day Retreat)
  
  OR
• January 18 - 26, 2026 (Eight-day Retreat)

Space is limited.

Location

• The retreat will be held at Grand Coteau Retreats in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. If flying, the closest airport is in Lafayette, Louisiana (LFT).

Costs

$150 per diem

• Five-day retreat: $750.00 (5 nights)
• Eight-day retreat: $1,200.00 (8 nights).
