Summer Priest Retreat
The Institute for Priestly Formation will again provide silent, directed 5-day and 8-day retreats for priests in the summer.
The retreat features:
- Four personal prayer periods
- Daily Mass
- Daily Spiritual Direction
- Multiple chapels for private prayer
Dates
- 5 Day Retreat: June 13 - June 18, 2027
- 8 Day Retreat: June 16 - June 23, 2027 - these are tentative
Space is limited. So early registration is recommended.
Location
- The retreat will be held on the campus of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
- You will be staying in a dorm room with your own bed and bathroom attached to an extra dorm room with a comfortable chair.
- Creighton University's campus is busy during the summer. We will provide an extra chapel on the campus for quiet prayer.
- Laundry facilities are available in the dorm.
Costs
The costs for the Summer Priest Retreats include the retreat fee, meals, and lodging.
- 5 - Day Retreat $1,300
- 8 - Day Retreat $1,550
If the participant is staying beyond the 5 or 8 days of the retreat, there will be an additional charge for room/board of $157 per day.
Registration
Because processes at the University require parking permits and ID cards, the deadline for applications is April 30, 2027.
A letter of suitability from your (Arch)diocese is required.
