Msgr. John Esseff has been for years a prominent spiritual director for IPF programs. The name for the fund, St. Teresa of Calcutta was chosen in honor of Msgr. Esseff’s close relationship with this wonderful saint. This fund supports the expenses of spiritual directors and instructors (travel, food and board, and stipend) while serving in IPF Programs. Its purpose is to help retain renowned clergy, spiritual directors, and instructors from across the United States and internationally who work to enrich the prayer life and spiritual direction of seminarians, priests and bishops each year. As Joseph and Mary were instrumental in the formative years of Jesus, the dedicated faith-filled spiritual directors, clergy, and instructors travel to facilitate the Summer Seminarian Program, the Spiritual Direction Training Program, Bishop’s Program, and multiple retreats for clergy each year. These dedicated individuals are instrumental in the formation and spiritual growth of participants in the IPF programs.
The endowed funds will be used to ensure IPF continues to maintain exceptional instructors and spiritual directors. The goal of this fund is to raise one million dollars. You are invited to contribute to this endowed fund by opening a named fund with a minimum gift of $25,000 as a tribute or memorial honoring a family or friend. You may also donate any amount as a gift to an established named fund, as a general recurring gift, as a one-time gift, or as a gift through your will or trust.
